GLENDALE Me Methodist Church.

This photograph of the Glendale ME Methodist Church was taken by Orel Chapman.  Orel was the great- grandson of Daniel Jackson and the Grandson of Reason Chapman, early settlers of Harrison Township.  Orel  was a student at Glendale School and later a teacher at Hudsonville School.   The photograph ,one of Orel's collection, was given to me by his grandson, William Dougherty. 

Glendale Church as it looks today in a photograph taken by William Daugherty.  What is left of the building still stands but it it is only a shell of the once prominent religious and social center of the community.
