GLENDALE, INDIANA
A Village In Harrison Township, Daviess County
Glendale, a rural community in southern Daviess County was one of three small villages located in Harrison Township.  It was located about two miltes north of Hudsonville on Portersville Road (Designated as 600S).  Waco, the third community is located about two miles east-south-east of Hudsonville on Portersville Road (Designated as 829S).  The social life of Glendale was centered around the Glendale Methodist Church and the Glendale School.  Often the people of one community, particularly the young ones, traveled  from one community to the other for social activities in the churches and schools.
