Plat of Hudsonville
The Plat of Hudsonville was recorded in Deed Record I, p. 654 of the Public Records of Daviess County, Indiana on May 29, 1854 by Daniel Jackson and John Jackson.  The Plat contains twenty-four lots 60' by 80' fronting on Poplar Street, Main Street and Walnut Street. 

Lot No. 23 was conveyed to J.B. Colbert on June 19, 1854 for the sum of $ 7.00.  (Deed Record I, p. 684.)

Lots No. 14 & 16 were conveyed to Jobe Gilley on June 19, 1854 for the sum of $9.50. (Deed Record I, p. 685.)

Lots No., 15, 18, & 19 were conveyed to George T. Houts on June 19, 1854 for the sum of $14.15.  (Deed Record I, p. 685.)

Lot No. 2 was conveyed to Luther Bratton on June 19, 1854.  (Deed Record I, p. 686.) 

Lot No. 10 was conveyed to Peter H. DeMoss on June 19, 1854 for the sume of $4.25. (Deed Record I, p. 686.)

Lot No. 21 was conveyed to Luther Bratton in July 1854 for the sum of $25.00.

Lots No. 3,4.5, & 6 were conveyed to Oscar Swanagan in March 1958.

Lot No. 22 was conveyed to William P. Colwell in June 1858 for the sum of $10.00.

J. B. Colbert as acting Justice of the Peace notorized many of the deeds above. 

Lots No. 11, 12, & 13 were conveyed to Armony Ragsdale in November 1864 for the sum of $8.65.

Lot No. 9 was conveyed to the Trustees of the Methodist E. Church, known as Jackson's Chappel on June 17, 1856. (Deed Record J, p. 503.)

EASTERN ADDITION AND WESTERN ADDITION TO HUDSONVILLE.

On June 25, 1856 Eastern and Western Additions to the town of Hudsonville were laid out and platted by Daniel Jackson and his son Nelson Jackson.  The Eastern Addition was platted on lands owned by Nelson Jackson and the Western Addition on lands owned by Daniel Jackson.  (Deed Record J, p. 486.)

The Eastern Addition contained twelve lots 60' X 80' Lots No. 37 to 48.
